Hassle-free overnight oat chia seed

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled-oats
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoon raisins (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cup almond milk (or any milk you like)
  • Fruits cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Roasted nuts, such as almonds and walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Add the first 6 ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly.
  • Cover the bowl and put in the fridge overnight.
  • Remove the bowl of overnight oat chia seed from the fridge, give the mixture a good stir and divide between two bowls.
  • Top the overnight oat chia seed mixture with fruits and nuts of your choice and enjoy.

Notes

I usually roast the nuts myself at 350 F for 10 - 12 minutes.
You can add more or less milk depending on how thick you want the mixture to be. If you find it too thick in the morning, go ahead and add more liquid.
Feel free to add more maple syrup, or use honey instead of maple syrup. We usually add a small amount of maple syrup since we want to enjoy the sweetness of the fruits.
A lot of fruits can be used in this recipe, such as berries, bananas, mangoes and kiwis.
